Should I open the starting sentence after comma in adressing "Hi," ("Hello,") with capital letter?



Hi, Xxxl, Dear Xxx L,
let me ...



vs.



Dear Xxx L,
Let me ...



In Russian it is not though it is more than frequently being goofed.
