meaning - "Queueing" or "Queuing"


Which spelling is better, queueing or queuing? Both words seem to mean the same, but there are two different spellings. My context is:



Queueing Latency



versus



Queuing Latency



If both spellings are applicable, when do I use which one of them?

Both occur and there's no difference in meaning.

First floor vs ground floor, usage origin

Ground floor – First floor: In British English, the floor of a building which is level with the ground is called the ground floor. The floor above it is called the first floor, the floor above that is the second floor, and so on. In American English, the floor which is level with the ground is called the first floor, the floor above it is the second floor, and so on. To my ear, the first sounds great, and the second is painfully awkward. So which is correct, grammatically?
