grammatical number - Can I use "has" after being a noun?



I have a question about verb agreement. Can I use "has" after [being + noun]?


For example, is has the correct form of the verb in the following sentence?



Being a celebrity has both some advantages and some disadvantages.

First floor vs ground floor, usage origin

Ground floor – First floor: In British English, the floor of a building which is level with the ground is called the ground floor. The floor above it is called the first floor, the floor above that is the second floor, and so on.
