grammatical number - "BookList" or "booksList?"




Possible Duplicates:

I'm wondering whether or not I should use a plural form noun with a collection name. For example, which one is correct, bookList or booksList (obviously they are variables in a programming language)?

First floor vs ground floor, usage origin

Ground floor – First floor: In British English, the floor of a building which is level with the ground is called the ground floor. The floor above it is called the first floor, the floor above that is the second floor, and so on. To my ear, the first sounds great, and the second is painfully awkward. So which is correct, grammatically?
