I'm trying to think of a word that describes a person who's skillful, intelligent, capable, interesting, etc. Think of the character in the most interesting man in the world commercials. What's one word that would describe him?

First floor vs ground floor, usage origin

Ground floor – First floor: In British English, the floor of a building which is level with the ground is called the ground floor. The floor above it is called the first floor, the floor above that is the second floor, and so on. To my ear, the first sounds great, and the second is painfully awkward. So which is correct, grammatically?
