nouns - Is "agreeance" a proper word?


Many people in my area use the word "agreeance" and I find it irksome. Dictionary.com seems to be in agreement with me (har har): http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/agreeance

To my ear, the first sounds great, and the second is painfully awkward. So which is correct, grammatically? Are either of these sentences wrong, and is one preferred?
