  • a cult guru who claims to be holy while doing something evil.

  • or a company which partakes in some kind of sordid business practice while pretending to be holier-than-thou.

Ground floor – First floor: In British English, the floor of a building which is level with the ground is called the ground floor. The floor above it is called the first floor, the floor above that is the second floor, and so on. To my ear, the first sounds great, and the second is painfully awkward. So which is correct, grammatically?
